《문소현: 공원 생활》
문소현의 〈공원 생활〉(2016)은 스톱모션 기법으로 제작된 12채널 영상 작품입니다. 작가는 직접 만든 인형을 한 프레임씩 촬영해 인공적인 움직임을 구현했습니다. 익명의 군중을 닮은 무표정한 인형들은 사회 체제 속에서 소외된 인간의 모습을 은유하며, 평온한 일상 뒤에 감춰진 사회의 어두운 단면을 드러냅니다. 작품 전반에는 문소현 특유의 그로테스크하면서도 예리한 시선이 깃들어 있습니다.
소장품섬
‘소장품섬’은 부산현대미술관이 소장한 작품 한 점을 깊이 있게 소개하는 정례 전시입니다. 미술관이 자리한 을숙도의 상징성을 담아 이름 지어졌으며, 관람객은 이곳에서 한 점의 작품을 천천히 감상하며 예술을 깊이 있게 음미할 수 있습니다. 미술관은 이를 통해 소장품의 의미를 새롭게 조명하고 그 가치를 확장해 나갑니다.
Moon Sohyun : Life in the Park
Moon Sohyun’s Life in the Park (2016) is a 12-channel video work created using stop-motion animation. The artist meticulously photographed each frame of the handmade puppets to produce deliberately artificial, slightly unsettling movements. With their blank faces and resemblance to anonymous crowds, the puppets metaphorically represent those marginalized within society, exposing the dark undercurrents that lie beneath ordinary life. Moon’s distinctive perspective, both grotesque and incisive, permeates in this work.
Busan MoCA Collection
Busan MoCA Collection is a space that presents selections from the Museum’s permanent collection in depth. Here, visitors are invited to immerse themselves entirely in one piece of artwork, allowing an intimate encounter with an artist’s creative world. Through these ongoing presentations, Busan MoCA continues efforts to broaden understanding and appreciation of its collection.
